Sparkle & Shine! Wedding Dress Inspriation

Hi everyone! Apologies for not  blogging for a while – work has been manically busy and life has been even more so! Having thrown myself into training for the 2 Oceans Half Marathon (gulp – next weekend!) I’m now feeling fit and strong, boosted on by my Argus Cycle Tour training 🙂 A big winner here – did my best time: 4.36! Very happy with it and hoping to improve again next year.

Anyway, back to today’s blog post! If I stop and think for a second, I realise that a few friends, colleagues & acquaintances have all gotten married in the past couple of weeks – literally about 5 people I know of! And with my 2 year engagement anniversary coming up next month, it got me thinking of my wedding day and how amazing it all was…if I could fly back in time and watch that day unfold again I would! My husband and I were listening to audio clips on his cell phone the other day, listening to what he’d recorded in the weeks and days running up to our wedding and I was reminded just how incredibly special that time of our lives was.

And so, for whimsical, sentimental reasons I’m blogging Wedding Dresses today – beautiful sparkly, unique and special dresses that I’ve spotted here and there – and all of which could do with some air time! So if you’re married, remember back to the day your wore your dress down the aisle, if you’re looking ahead to your day – dream on 🙂 & as always, be inspired!

Oh, to Fall in Love!

As a newlywed, I’m still so inspired by incredible wedding photography, decor, clever ideas and just general great wedding tips & tricks. But for the most part, it’s being inspired by couples in love – you can really tell when a couple loves each other, and with a good photographer who is all about capturing natural moments – you can definitely see it!

Having been to about 7 weddings since my own (which was in November), it’s just amazing to appreciate it from the other side of the table. Seeing a couple making their vows to each other in front of God, family and friends is so much more meaningful when you yourself are married. WOWNESS!

And you know what…falling in love has nothing on loving in marriage. It’s something quite amazing and very special, and has such incredible potential for growth.
