Kitchen Spaces | Going Industrial at Home
While super-industrial isn’t the most ‘in’ look right now in kitchens (everyone’s loving the farm-style, vintage effect), I really think that ‘industrial’ can be interpreted in a multitude of ways. You’re not necessarily cooking in some huge warehouse or school camp kitchen – oh no. Just dream of this place! It’s got brick walls, white subway tiles, wooden beams, metal hooks for pots and pans and a collection of modern and retro appliances and shelving spaces – all comprising an eclectic take on the ‘industrial kitchen’.
My advice is to keep it clean and simple, bring in pops of colour and different textures here and there, but don’t go overboard with too much metal, too much steel or too much brickwork. Plus your big shiny espresso machine is going to look right at home J Be inspired!
